This seemed appropriate. Now, I know you're on the edges of your seats. What was I inspired to do? Did I go to the gym? On a diet? On an eating binge, in despair that my ass won't look like that without 1200 lunges every day? Well, dear readers, I did none of those things. I read TK's hilarious, beautiful, more-than-soul-baring post, and I decided I needed to clean my house.
No, seriously. I think it started because I was making dinner and thinking about TK's ass (what? You weren't?) and my ass, and how to get from the latter to the former, and I remembered that cleaning is supposed to burn a bunch of calories. And then I saw my kitchen counters and started moving appliances and cleaning under them while dinner was in the oven. Then I remembered my pile of Christmas detritus shoved into the corner of my closet, so I started cleaning that out and putting things away. I took a break to actually eat my dinner, and went right back to it. This was serious, ladies. I steam-cleaned the pergo. I vacuumed my stairs.
I threw in the towel (into the laundry basket, that is) shortly before TH got home from his late night at school and work, about an hour ago. I'm not sure why I was inspired to deep clean, although the house needed it, and I feel pretty good now. But I thought I'd share my little Monica Gellar spaz moment with you.
I do think I'm going to try to start doing yoga again. Lately I've been feeling pretty good about the state of my body (and I'm getting no complaints from TH), but I would like my ass and arms and stomach to all firm up / tone up / flatten down, and yoga's a great way to accomplish all of that at once (and you know I love
So tell me, have you been strangely motivated to do something seemingly unrelated to that which did the motivating? Let's hear all about it...

I'm motivated to clean my house / tidy up piles of crap / do the gardening every time there's something else more important that needs doing. Like.... work projects, therapy 'homework', preparation for girl guides (I'm a leader). So yeah, organising and tidying are my procrastination. What a loser!
TK has inspired me... but to do something similar to her, perhaps. Will take considerable thought however. Watch this space (for a long time)...

Well I'm trying to loose weight & maybe even do yoga in preparation for a cruise March 6th. Wait a minute, that is related.
How about writing a (hopefully) funny post because Mr TM made me cry?
I struggle with severe insomnia. I am lucky to fall asleep by 1:00 a.m., even though I am in bed by 9:00 p.m. religiously every weeknight. And I usually wake up at 3:30 a.m.
Mr Z says I need to stop reading the porn on my kindle...but I try to explain that what is keeping me up is stressing about work...I am just that person, I can't keep it locked up in a 8-5 box -- I have to pick up the kindle or I just sit there and stew on it.
So to cure my insomnia I am going to bust my arse and work as late and long as I have to every day to get my desk ridiculously caught up. It is damned near impossible to do in my industry and will probably take serveral months to get there...but it has to be done. I am about to keel over! And then maybe I won't hate my job so much either.
Either way, my workout needs to be to my head, not my body (well, at least not as the #1 priority..although I am going to the gym now daily too)
All I have is a direct correlation... SwedenSara's FanFic The Secret Changes of Bella Swan helped me talk to my husband and interact with him better. It has inspired me to do better for me and my hubby.
I am so happy that you were inspired by TK and that you are happy with the outcome of your cleaning spree - you are welcome at my house the next time the inspiration hits ;)
I'm motivated to work out. I think about it non-stop and say I'll do it all the time. Do I do it? Nope! I say "I'll do it after work" and then all of the sudden it's 10pm so I think "I'll get up early in the a.m. and do it" buuuut then my alarm clock goes off and I'm too tired so I hit snooze. So I guess this isn't motivation so much as it is procrastination. So thanks to you, after I finish commenting, I'm going to get my ass up off of my bed and pack my gym bag for tomorrow. :)
To be honest I haven't been motivated to do poop lately and I'm defenitely suffering for it. I stopped working out before the holidays and I eat so much crap food and am gaining weight. I'm ignoring my blog just because I don't feel like posting. My dog needs a massive hair cut and a bath. I have so many clothes to put away. And I don't want to do any of it. I think I'm in a bit of a rut that I don't know how to get out of. Perhaps I'm depressed and don't know it. Maybe I need some vitamin D and some fresh air. I really do hate the winter.
