Blue Ed(let)

Who needs a drink this week? I know I sure do, so let's get to it. This week (sorry, Jelena), it's another blue one! Blue Ed is presented this week in honor of Edlet, who has now been with me almost a week. He was very helpful with making this drink, too.

I am not sure what determines the ads I get at the top of the screen...

My ingredients (presented by Edlet, of course):

I have been to the liquor store and have some new things with which to play!!

Edlet says: "I have prepared a receptacle for your beverage." (He's very formal.)

1 oz Blue Curacao

1 oz Southern Comfort

1 oz Amaretto

Fill ("to this level," says Edlet) with Sweet & Sour Mix

"That's quite enough! Stop there!" Oh, Edlet, you little taskmaster.

YUM. OK, so it's probably clear by now that I like the fruity, sweet drinks. This one tastes like a blue (duh) Sweet Tart candy. I probably couldn't drink too many in a row because of the tartness (just like I can only handle so many actual Sweet Tarts at one time), but it's pretty tasty. Not as strong as the Blue Motorcycle (MAN, that was a doozy!), but yummy and fun!

Full of WIN!

OK, so next week is the last Thirsty Thursday... before Eclipse opens! (haha - you didn't think I was done with Th.Th., did you?) So next week I will be hosting an Eclipse party, which basically just means multiple drink recipes, all tied to an Eclipse theme. Come and enjoy!
