I don't know if this will help anything, but I feel really compelled to post this. About a week and a half ago, this little boy, Kyron Horman, went missing from his elementary school in Portland.
He is 3 foot 8 and 50 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was wearing black cargo pants, white socks, worn black Skecher tennis shoes with orange trim and dark-colored t-shirt with the "CSI" show logo.*
Last weekend, they called off the endangered child search for him, and have since begun a criminal investigation into his disappearance. Please share this with anyone (in the area or anywhere), so that this little boy can hopefully be brought home safely. He disappeared from within his school - one of the places that should be safest for children. Every day they report about him on the news here, and there's just no sign of him. Every little bit helps. You never know what may lead someone to know something.
GOD this just breaks my heart and although I am on the other side of the country I will tweet this out and hopefully they will find him. This is my worst nightmare...it really is. I can't tell you how much I pray for lost kids on a daily basis.
I read about this story last week on CNN. News like that always breaks my heart. I can say with no guilty conscious whatsoever, that those who abduct children are monsters. Monsters!
On a side note, my husband was physically ill when we watched The Lovely Bones. He wanted to beat the crap out of that guy, and I had to keep reminding him that it's just a movie.
