He's heeeeeeeeeere!

I know I told you all I'd post my thoughts on Eclipse yesterday. You'll get over the disappointment, and I'll get around to it eventually. Tonight I bring you something more important!
What a surprise I had waiting for me when I got home today: a sick husband! Oh, and also: a mini delivery!

It's T.Edlet!

Apparently, he grew exasperated with the slow speed of the delivery truck, gathered the items Living with Edward had sent with him, and ran the rest of the way. He was waiting for me on the doorstep when I got home.

I apologized that TH was too sick to let him in as I unlocked the door, but T.Edlet was just happy to have arrived and we had a nice chat as I showed him around. I introduced him to everyone, and he was very happy to meet Edlet. He's a very happy guy, which one wouldn't expect from his frowny expression.
"Aah - you must be the T.Edlet I've heard so much about."

"That's right, how's it goin', man? Edlet, I assume? Listen, I'm not here to horn in on your turf. You've obviously been here longer and have a cooler jacket than I do, so I hope we can be pals."


"Yeah, yeah, put 'er there, T.Eddy, my man."


"First thing to learn around here: Musing Bella loves hugs."

"She does??!! This is a total WIN! I love hugs! I'm so happy to be here!"

"Heh heh heh. Well, you've come to the right place. Let's get you settled - where's your pack?"

"This is everything LwE sent with me. Help me get it open, and I'll show you!"
"Hey, you pack pretty lightly. Not bad."

"Thanks!"
[rummages around]
"LwE thought that I might get hungry, so she packed me a snack. But he's just so cute, I couldn't eat him. I named him Emmett, since it seems unlikely we'll be getting an Emlett anytime soon."

"Yeah, what up with that?"

"I don't know, man."

"Okay, and then this is for someone named Charlie. LwE said his favorite hobby was fishing, so she sent this for him."

"Oh, haha. That's the cat. You'll see him later. That must be some sort of double entendre, though..."

"Ohh, yeah, I get it. Bella's Dad loves fishing, cats love fish..."

[both crack up for a long while]

"Okay," [wipes tear from his eye, catching his breath] "I also brought something for us!"

"LwE told me all about this game called beer blood pong. She said Musing Bella is a drunk writes booze-related posts on Thursdays, and that maybe she would let us play for one of her posts."

"Cool, man. We'll have to see if she can get us a Silver Bullet to play with. Get it? 'Cause --"

"--oh yeah, 'cause that's the only thing that'll kill a werewolf! Haha! You slay me, Edlet!"

"Nah - I stole that joke from TH."

The boys didn't know what a Ming was, so they decided to distract themselves with a little fishing.

And they waited...

Charlie did not seem to care...

"What should we do?"
"I could attack him and make him play with us..."
"No, shh, I think he spotted us at last. Musing Bella just brought us to his attention. Here he comes."
"Get ready!"
"Hold on tight!"
And after a little bit of battering...
It ended up on the floor, as do all of Charlie's toys eventually. He's a killer.

[shrugs] "Oh well."

"Hey, come on, man. I'll show you my spot."

"Musing Bella bought this for me a couple weeks ago. Isn't it tight?"

"I'll say - we'll never both fit in there!"

"Hey, you, taking the pictures - what do you have to say about that?"

"Umm.. try it out, guys. It might be big enough." (Heh heh - that's what she said...)

"Yeah, this isn't going to work."

"I'm getting a wedgie."

"TMI, bro."
"We're gonna need a bigger box."

"OK, I'll see what I can do."
